About College

Mariya Arts And Science College, Deoli is a private un-aided affiliated college in Deoli, Dist. Wardha in the state of Maharashtra. The College was established on 15th June 2012 vide Govt. of Maharashtra and got affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. However it started functioning in the year 2018 with Arts and Science Faculty. The college is co-educational by its nature.

Under the ideal and effective leadership of Hon. Abdul Hamid Abdul Majid and his team of Sharad Gramin Vikas Bahuudeshiya Shikshan Sanstha, Deoli, Dist. Wardha shall turn the dream of providing quality education to the needy class into reality.

The well-equipped laboratories, library and highly qualified teachers impart knowledge to students. The institution has been trying for the all round development of the students. Qualified and well experienced staff works sincerely to achieve the goals.

The institution has rich library, reading room, attractive and well furnished building, play ground, indoor and outdoor games, parking, canteen and all time humanitarian support to the needy students etc.

About Management

The Founder President Hon. Abdul Hamid Abdul Majid established Sharad Gramin Vikas Bahuudeshiya Skhikshan Santha, Deoli, Dist. Wardha on 27 th August 1991 vide MH943/1991 Govt. of Maharashtra with a vision to provide quality education to the rural and under privileged masses. At present, the Society runs two primary school, two high school, one convent, one junior college, one degree college, Urdu Library, one nursing college and one Gramin Hospital.

Sharad Gramin Vikas Bahuudeshiya Skhikshan Santha, devoted himself to educate the people by establishing colleges and schools far and wide in Deoli tahsil. He was a man of masses who devoted all his mind and heart to the cause of education.

Principal's Desk

It gives me a great pleasure to welcome to the Mariya Arts and Science College, Deoli that has two faculties Arts and Science , running under the Sharad Gramin Vikas Bahuudeshiya Shikshan Santha, Deoli. It is one of the leading educational institutions in Deoli, District - Wardha. The value of its contribution to education in general is enormously great as it has, from the very beginning, tried all its best to lay emphasis on the education of the minority and the students from rural area who are really from the bulk of society. Going into flashback, this college was started with two streams i.e. Arts and Science and only around 56 students but now 433 students are studying in college.

The staff members are empowered to successfully carry out curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular and various extension activities. Through these activities the college is always ready to put in its efforts to inculcate the hidden talent of the students and nourish it for the personality development of them.

The college is also bound to inspire teaching faculty to attend and participate in conferences by providing some financial help.

Our college provides facilities like playground, botanical garden, auditorium, library, computers, science laboratories, students and staff parking, first aid room, medical check of students and staff, canteen and CCTV cameras for the safety of students, Fire extinguishers on every floor of the building etc.

For the benefit of the community, the college organizes free medical camps, tree plantation. Besides, world women's day and International Yoga day are organized to create awareness among women and general health of students and staff.

The college annually publishes college magazine “SUSAWAND” comprising essays, articles, poems, short stories etc. written by students.

A well planned mechanism to get feedback from students, parents and other stake holders which is analyzed in a meeting of faculty and accordingly action is taken.

The college feel pride to strengthen its faculty with aroma of new and updated knowledge. The college was supposed to march towards the development.
